Treated Seeds
Currently designed for the direct-seeded small-seeded vegetable (SSV) market, FarMore® Technology offers a commercially applied proprietary combination of separately registered seed protection products and protocols for maximum return on investment potential and grower convenience. This seed protection system is customized to each grower’s individualized needs, delivering consistent disease and insect protection as well as plant modulation options to enhance seedling emergence, plant stand establishment and early-season vigor, and protect yield potential.

The combination of certain environmental conditions and pathogens on the seed or in the soil may result in damping-off, decay, seedling blight and eventual death of the seed or seedling. The broad-spectrum protection of the FarMore Technology disease components protects the seed by targeting seed- and soil-borne fungi that cause these early-season infections. FarMore Technology provides contact and systemic activity against Fusarium, Pythium and Rhizoctonia among others. The combination of active ingredients and protocols are active on all four major classes of pathogenic fungi.

Small-seeded vegetable crops also can fall victim to a variety of insects, which can damage crops and yield potential, significantly affecting a grower’s bottom line. These pests also can serve as vectors of various diseases that can infect plants, resulting in significant damage or even plant death. The FarMore Technology insecticide offering gives growers targeted protection that is easy on beneficial and pollinators while protecting against harmful chewing and sucking insects, including aphids, cucumber beetles, flea beetles, leafminers, whiteflies, seedcorn maggot and wireworm.

In addition to offering early-season disease and insect protection, FarMore Technology can also offer crop enhancement benefits. The plant modulation component of FarMore Technology is designed to help young plants withstand transplant shock and perform to their genetic potential. The plants treated with the FarMore Technology crop enhancement offering are expected to better withstand stress caused by extreme environmental conditions during the course of growth, development and maturation, helping ensure maximum crop yield and quality potential.
